"Will NPB be available to general civilian"

Few days back I saw a video on youtube which says that GLOCK INDIA will be launching NPB for general civilian in the category of .380ACP, .40MM, .357sig & .45MM handguns. Do anybody have any news about this?

Please see the list of restricted arms and restricted ammunition on page 192 of the link to the Arms Rules 2016, English Version .

None of the cartridges listed by you seem to be included in the restricted category.

So, can a civilian apply for .40mm or .45mm handgun & is eligible.

You don't apply for a specific calibre, you apply for NPB or PB firearms. Based on your licence conditions you may pick anything which is covered under the specific list.

That would be .40 inch and .45 inch not mm. Cheers.
