They are charging 35k in my place (Karnataka) what a difference.....I think they are adding transport charges or they sre overcharging in either case I will not fall in their trap

The gun is well constructed and the best Indian make single barrel the wood used is also good and it has a thick barrel .........you should pattern the gun and see what type of choke and range the gun has

There are ,in 2020, slightly better methods of checking diameter of a tube.The fingers, as a means of measure went out in the 1800’s I think Simplest would be a verniers. To measure the barrel thickness and the dia of the barrel. THAT will help in the choke and possible safety of solid / slug use.
