.38 revolver ammunition
I have a licenced.38 antique revolver and looking for its ammunition. Where can I find .38 cartridges? Thank you.

Which city are you from ??
You will only get that in a very famous gun shop with lot of varieties of weapons and cost will be around 600-1000 for a pop .

.38 indicates the bore in inches. .38mm would be the size of a needle. If by .38 you mean .38S&W a.k.a .38-200 then KF makes ammo for it from time to time. You will be able to get it from a dealer with a license to deal in Restricted(what was earlier called Prohibited Bore) firearms. It certainly is not for 600-1000 per cartridge. No idea about the exact price though.

Yes you are right finding a dealer who deals in PB is little difficult . In pune they charge for .380 pistol round 600-1000 a single round which is very expensive.

There are many different kinds of revolver cartridges in .38. First find out the exact cartridge that your revolver is made for. Common .38 revolver in India are .38/200 and .38 special. Here is the complete list for .38 cartridges

Yes, first see which ammo you need ,visit different dealers in your city they might help you out .
But since .38 is PB list for revolvers finding a dealer will be little cumbersome.
