All the best for your exams. Remember... shooting can wait. Not studies. Eventually good grades will fetch U a good job which can sustain shooting pursuance

Best,

I am feeling better in the new stance as it is more comfortable and less tiring
Today I shot 9 pellets and the grouping seems good.
Will keep on trying new things and posting the results and yes thanking you for the changes you suggested.

You really need to work on your
1. Rhythm
2. Follow thru.
I think at least 3 shots were fired After more than normal firing time.

Cheers

Hello Tend Sir,
First of all a great thanks for such a valuable post.
I just want to know which all national competition's score are considered for eligibility for national selection trials other than Nscc

A squad based selection score is notified by NRAI for the NSCC. Once a shooter equals or shoots a higher score, they are eligible to take part in National Squad selections held about 7 times in the following year. All those who have qualified are supposed to take part in these trials, and NRAI has a method of accruing the mean average score, based on which the top contenders are taken into the National Squad. Once in the squad, they are given repeated practice and the National Coach and selection jury will decide which competitor to send to which International championship. In such International championships, the athletes are 'seeded' and there are Olympic quotas up for grabs in these events. If a shooter scores with sufficient merit, they will be awarded an Olympic berth...

By far, the most informative article about shooting sports in the Indian context, even if it was written back in 2008. Kudos!

Hello guys,
Great post TenX hats off to you. Its such a informative post its surely going to help the younger guys about the sport. I have been shooting from the age of 13 under dads supervision, but i never had any one guide me to take it up as a career. I have been shooting and pinking off and on since then but not very often, but recently a friend of mine introduced me tto the sport of 10m pistol and it got me hooked. I just love shooting and i am waiting to pick up a 10m sports pistol and start shooting again.
