Hi

Although for commercial firearm manufacturing there are some pointers available but for citizens applying in individual capacity i found no details on how to and if it is available online at all?, is it just another halfhearted gimmick by GOI as i would assume tracking of rejections on arms applications by GOI would become more accessible and a good tool in hands of citizens to fight for their rights and which Gov never likes so i am a little bit skeptical whether online application on firearms license is legit or just another gimmick by GOI.

Has anyone tried to apply for a new license online yet? What is the procedure/modus operandi of the same? Do we still need to submit papers etc. physically or everything is done online?

This is for license to manufacture arms and ammunition, NOT for individual arms licenses.

Completed my online application today it asked for all details plus my pic & sign. Also downloaded filled PDF file. Got ref no too...Let's see what happens next.

I tried filling up the renewal form but some of the mandatory columns not working properly , probably will get sorted out in due course , but remarkably it gives you the details once you have filled in the UID number.

Did you make the payment as well, if yes how much? Also do we need to submit the filled PDF and other original documents physically to the authorities or everything is done online?

Looks like a good initiative from the govt. Do you know if the regular (offline) option is still there, or is this the only way to go?

Hi please guide yesterday my father retd Indian Army officer received letter regarding allotment of NSP weapon but he is not having arms license so is it possible to get arms license now at age of 62years we are currently residing in Uttar Pradesh
