If the consignment is not cleared within 7 days of landing then demurrage charges apply.kanwar76";p="26185 wrote:

I doubt anyone has done this, so it may as well be you.

Fortunately, I don't have to go through the pellet selection process as its previous owner has already told Inder about its prefered diet.Mack The Knife sir will obviously need to check the rifle and find out what fodder suits it the best.He has to do a lot of hard work so that airgunners get the best from their airguns.Turbans off to the man.
penpusher, I use a Lansky sharpner which basically sharpens at one of the four given angles. Freehand sharpening requires a bit of practice and experience and Mark may be able to guide you better on that. Basically, there are two ways of freehand sharpening a knife with a bevelled edge (convex edges are another kettle of fish)....BTW Mack The Knife sir, want a lesson on how to sharpen a knife. The blade of the pocket knife that I have has become dull.It is SS.Please start a thread on this. Now before I get my ears tweaked I think that I should get off this topic.
1) To raise the blade to just the right bevel/edge angle and then maintain that angle whilst moving the blade in a circular fashion.
2) Once again maintain the right bevel/edge angle and move the blade along the stone in an arc so as to cover it's entire length in one move. It's as if you were cutting a fine slice of cheese. Don't overdo the pressure.
The finer the stone, the more polished will be the edge. However, the eventual finish will depend on the primary purpose the knife is to be put to. Sometimes it's nicer to have a slightly toothy edge.
If you send me the knife I could sharpen it for you and post it back.
Start a new thread as this has the makings of a good topic.
Mack The Knife
P.S.: To ensure that both sides of the blade have been sharpened equally, run the tip of your finger along the side of the edge to check for burrs. There shouldn't be any.

I don't think its possible as purpose of NOC is to prove that its indeed an air gun which you bought from Abroad and therefore doesn't require License.diskaon";p="26203 wrote:Good show boss...

Thed report that C.A.R sends mention that its an airgun which is for sporting purpose only and can't be converted to firearm.

Hi Inder,
Look up this thread" Diana 35 the old classic!",I too had a similar experience when I imported my BSA stutzen approx 6 years ago!But in my case I had to escort a Customs officer along with the air-gun to the Police comm.office and after verification(NOC),then escort him back with the gun for valuation by Customs.
I got my piece out the next evening after my arrival!
Regards

Makes a lot of financial sense, penpusher. Especially when bought from forum members who are usually switched on regarding maintenance. I had five air-rifles in the U.K. and only one of them was bought new. Off the four second hand one's three were without any blemish whatsoever.penpusher";p="26220 wrote: Previous owner Inder Baiji, what have you done.A used gun.

Mack The Knife,
It surely does but only if the gun is in good nick.Looking at the photos of Inder's gun,I am sure it is.You also need to know whom/where you are buying from.Inder seems to have made a good deal.I love 'good deals'
