BENCHREST SHOOTING TOURNAMENT

Air Rifle & Benchrest shooting Federation of India (affiliated to World Benchrest Shooting Federation) is organizing air Rifle Benchrest shooting fest for the first time in India.
Venue will be either Mumbai or Pune
Tentative dates:
International Benchrest shooting training camp on 5th & 6th October 2019.
Championship on 7th October 2019
( reps from WBSF will guide the participants in the training camp and also will supervise the Championship match)

Hi All,
I have not heard much about 'Air Rifle And Benchrest Shooting Federation of India'. I am not sure if at all this is a recognized federation or not and I doubt if it is recognized by NRAI. Could someone please clearify more about this?

AFAIK, ARBSFI is relatively a new entity and is affiliated to either "World Benchrest Shooting Federation" or "World Rimfire and Air Rifle Benchrest Federation", who are the international governing bodies for Benchrest Shooting ONLY. ISSF, doesn't have Benchrest shooting descipline. Since NRAI is affiliated to ISSF, naturally they don't cover Benchrest Shooting.
I was so exited that I called and had a long conversation with the concerned person on phone. He promised to send the relevant details by month end. I will keep you guys posted as soon as I get more information. :cheers:
