I had an opportunity of shooting xena few days back....though there are many traits to admire in that air rifle but I what I liked most is the 2 stage trigger....its said that good trigger can escalates the performance of a gun n i found it quite refreshing for an indian springers to have such an addition. it's a good sporter rifle n feels good in hands.
few fellow seasoned airgunners are planning to buy this n m sure they will be kind enough to give their reviews n judgement in this forum.

I happen to test fire the Xena.
I would not say much about the look....
The pics.are sufficient enough to get the impression.
The velocity hovered 13.5 to 14 ftlbs.
Three experienced shooter have fired the Xena who have best imported springers with them.
They are of the opinion the trigger is comparable with any world class 2 staget trigger with auto locking system.
At a distance of 20 mtrs....Xena scored 12.5 mm CTC before break in.
They are of the opinion that after the break in , the CTC may be reduced to 9 mm.
It has all the features to satisfy AR lovers.

Also ,does this air rifle feature their newTyphoon spring?

I do not have Artemis .....
So my comment would not be convincing.
Xena is fitted with Typhon Spring.
It has quick lock time and more importantly the cocking effort is below 11.5 kgs.
Cocking effort goes harder at final stage.

Thanks Basu sir for your comments . 9 mm CTC at 20 meters is dead on ... Even world class springers like weihrauch n Diana cant meet that sometimes .. I mean whatever review videos I have seen 9mm CTC doesn't happen every time .

Will be really good if some one makes a YouTube review of the same. I am from Mumbai and I don't think so anybody from Mumbai has Xena as of now and if anyone does am ready to take my Artemis and do a comparison video

@Basu sir,
As u are from Kolkata just like me, please suggest me what should i do with my 0.22 airrifle? Do you know any person who also had the same, if so what had they done? What have you done sir? I am very much puzzled, a rule by government made me accused overnight, though I have proper documentation of my purchase where it is clearly mentioned that NO LICENCE REQUIRED.

Please guide Basu sir. Very much tensed.

The law is still unclear for most people and process to follow.
I do not want trouble so I sold my 0.22s almost immediately.
Wait and watch.....
Prefer not to carry .22 anywhere just to avoid any hassle.
I have no more idea to share with you....

Hi guys,
After doing extensive research on Xena, I came across some issues about the dissimilarity in its design. I know that it is a subtle matter so I am posting about this in reply to this thread.
The issue being a groove-line on the compression cylinder present in maximum models and not present in several. Two of my friend have Xena and they too have the line. Needless to say this doesn't cause any change in its smooth firing behaviour and power. But I was just curious why this difference in design would happen. To bring clarity I am attaching pictures taken from official website and some youtube videos. Pardon me for being too much curious, but just want to check everything before choosing my second break barrel. Any insight on this is helpful.

Dear Dutta,
As per my understanding the hinge part & the cylinder attached upon threads.
IHP used to do knurling to strengthen the joint.
SDB used to use crimp the joint area( Your first two pics.) to strengthen the joint.I think that is somewhat better than knurling in respect of reliability.
Refer to your last picture (without crimp) where two parts after being threaded and attached , electrode welding is done then turned on lathe to avoid crimp.
The later process is time taking and costlier but improves asthetics.
You have rightly pointed out that it has nothing to do with performance as such.
