Is there any imported spring that will fit this.

Ok. Received the hummer spring Mk2 and tried it out. Nice power for just 100 Rupees :)
Mk2 is 2-4 mm longer than Mk1. I can only compare them with spacers as I use them. Tested with JSB 0.67 g (10.34 gr). So Mk1 with spacers (5 mm) is 251-253 m/s, Mk2 with spacers (5 mm) is 265-267 m/s. Tested it from 200-130 bar. The speed does not very a lot. I'll post the speed chart here soon.

Here is the results.
40 shots From 200 to 125 bar.
JSB EXACT HEAVY DIABLO 0,67 g 10,34 gr.

So, for me the best range is 185 - 155 bar.

Tried some other pellets at 185 bar. Just couple of shots.
Precipell 0,57 g 8,7gr - 918,635 fps
JSB Monster 0,87 g 13,43 gr - 754,593 fps

The improvement in hammer spring quality is about longevity and not power increase. Both springes are of the same length out of box.

Dr. Shirsat would never let stock guns out of box to stray over the legal limit.

There are a lot more modifications using after market parts and modification for Achilles already proved themselves which can deliver 24 ft lbs with a very reduced shot count per fill.

Is it possible to install PX100 Club Pro barrel to PX100 Achilles? They both are 4.5mm. But PX100 Club Pro barrel is 8 cm longer and looks like the outer dia is larger. Do they have the same dia on the side where they are fixed to the chamber?

And one more question. Is it possible to use pallet magazine from some other 4.5 mm rifles? FX Air gun High-capacity magazine?

Hi GNV,
Thank you so much for the insight on changing the spring.
Well, I find the after market spring made by your friend interesting. Is there any way that I could get hold of one?

Scarecrow3 wrote: Also, this one thing i wanted to point out. The rifle comes with an air pressure regulator which is not a very common thing in budget and mid range air rifles. What a regulator does it that it converts the high pressure of the tank into a steady preset pressure in it's own chamber. This exposes each pellet to the same pressure of air with every shot as opposed to a continuously dropping pressure for every shot in unregulated guns. Now this is a great feature with the advantages and disadvantages listed below.

Advantages:
1) Provides consistent velocity ( for tank pressure>regulator pressure)
2) The rifle is less likely to "pressure lock"

Disadvantages:
1) Regulators, even the very best ones have a limited life. The higher the difference in tank pressure vs regulator pressure the shorter the life of the regulator is deemed.
2) One of the simplest methods to modify the power of an unregulated PCP is to tighten the hammer spring or replace it with a more powerful one. The power gain is much less if a regulator is present as the regulator is also a restricting factor in the air flow.
Is PX100 regulated? I can only see a valve and a valve spring between hammer and air tank. Or these valve and spring mean "Regulator"?

Ok. It seams like regulator. I understood the way it works. But how to tune it? Only with Exhaust Valve Return Spring? The weaker it is the more pressure you get in after air tank space?
