Still not having UIN of gun licencs....

Hi dear friends let me know any of you, still not having UIN number of gun licence like me.... As I obtain licence from j&k and recently got renewed for next 3 year. but as j&k gov site is not working for entry of data for arms so i was told... Uin will not be given now.... But as per new law from 1 apr 2019 the licence without uin will be considered invalid!!!! .

Any comment dear friends..... I m worried plz guide me.

Hi,

Due to some fraud License cases, the officers are not doing it. From which District your license was issued?

If the License has been recently renewed,
You don't have to worry.
There are many existing License without UIN.
Keep in touch with the authorities.
I am told that the Portal is temporarily blocked.
Once the On-Line registration will re-open,
Then you should get information from DC Office.

Without UIN no arm licence is invalid,you can,t even purchase any ammunition.As I m from Assam n I got my arm license in February 2018 (only one year validity)with UIN no,when I went to the arms dealer to purchase my pistol they first see my license whether I have my UNI no printout attached in my license or not,again after one year when I renewed my license they again give me new UIN printout with same UIN no but three years validity time.So please look into the matter and try to take the UIN no for your license.

Generation of UIN for arms licenses issued before 31.03.2019 has been disabled on the website.
Now UIN can be generated only for new arms licenses issued begining 01.04.2019
If Central government issues any new notification for restart for issuing UIN on old licenses,until then technically old licenses without UIN are no more valid.

I don't know what the present situation is.
However Licences which were due for renewal,
Up to about 2 years back and earlier,
Were all automatically issued UIN,
During the renewal process.
