shift to new address - arms dealer

Dear All

In case anyone has any opinion, suggestion or any extract from arms act to share.
We are shifting our shop to a new address which is 2-4 minutes walking distance away from old address.

Any help will be appreciated

Arms Rules 2016, Form VIII, point no. 5 in Conditions says that:

5. The licensee shall not sell the arms or ammunition covered by the licence, elsewhere than at the place of
business specified in column 1.

So first you will have to get old address changed to new address in your arms dealer license and then only you can shift to new address. Your State Home Department has powers to change the address.

Give application to the DM regarding the address change. DM will most probably seek NOC from Police and Fire Brigade.

Once your file is complete from DM office, DM will forward the file to your State Home Department.
