I just started practicing Trap shooting. It would be helpful if someone can brief me the procedure and the score of achieving an Aspiring Shooter Status in Trap shooting.

To get an aspiring shooter certificate you have to take part in either the G.V. Mavlankar Shotgun competition or the Zonal Shotgun competitions and achieve a minimum qualifying score of 18/50 in the match.
If you have played any one of these matches and achieved the MQS then you will have to apply for the Aspiring certificate to NRAI by paying Rs570 and sending them an email with the proof of your score and a request letter.
The Aspiring letter will help you to get an Arms License for Sports Purpose only.
