I was fortunate to see a 12 Bore Shotgun with a small brass plaque with the name B C Mahtab engraved on it. Bijay Chand Mahtab was the ruler of Burdwan Estate, Bengal in British India from 19th October 1881- 29th August 1941.
The woodwork on the gun has been victim to the vagaries of time but the metal part besides the bluing which is long gone is still in working shape.
The gun is in safe custody but will try and get pics and post the same.
