You can Contact a renowned shooter who has the eligibility to import a gun . This way you can get a brand new gun. He will charge double the price whatever costs to him.
A rough idea is you should get a brand new Beretta basic sports model which costs around 3500$ approx at Rs 6 lacs here if you get the right person.

But the thing to consider here is that can a renowned shooter import a gun and sell it immediately to whomever he wants
to ?

There is one Baretta 12 gauge with 2 3/4" chamber Model S-56E kept in Tahir Arms in Mbai in excellent condition. Its a field model with double trigger I suppose. One can always call and find out the price if its still available.

Vijay, shooters can sell their gun after 2 years have elapsed (from date of import). There are various models made by the above two brands, what would help others give you the best advice would be if you could be specific about your intended use - general purpose shooting, skeet, trap?

While a general purpose (single trigger) model with multi chokes, can be used for skeet, Trap guns are purpose built for the sport. So if you intend to shoot Trap, only a Trap model would do.

Beretta entry level model prices (in India), like the 686 start at about 5 lacs and above, 692's go for 6 lacs and above, DT-10/ DT-11 go for above 10 lacs. Above mentioned prices are for guns in very good condition, of course prices will vary per seller.

Cheers!
