I bought a .177 hawk air pistol couple of months ago , But it's performance reduced gradually , It used to penetrate a cardboard box and exit it or gets stuck on other side.
But now the pellets either bounce off or just get stuck on the first surface.
I used the talcum powder method and also tried to check by keeping a paper above the place where Breech Seal is located , the paper was blown upwards.
I thought of replacing the breech seal , after too much effort I was able to find one made of rubber. But it's a bit bigger looks like it's for .22 . (It costed Rs.50)
Is there anyway I can fit it in.
Currently I kept it in the freezer , hoping it will shrink.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Help regarding Breech Seal of Hawk Air pistol
Hi Friend,
I don't think the synthetic seal is going to fit in the Hawk pistol. Moreover placing it in the freezer is not going to help at all. Better go for leather seal which will be easier to fit in.
There are multiple other options as well if you are unable to find the right breech seal for your air pistol, forget about using .22 one for .177 .
