Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's Ground X-Vehicle Technologies have developed wheels for their combat vehicles which can change shape while running to suit terrains during service.

I saw this video earlier. This platform has great potential. The mobility has increased with this wheel structure. Tracked vehicles are already favorite of military. But if the wheel can change the shape from conventional formation to tracked it can do wonders.
