Re: The RWS chamber lube & Crosman chamber oil - Review
Thats great baggafx. Share the result please after application.baggafx wrote:Everyone knows when we fire any spring airrifle for 500-1000 shot..pistol seal dry out & need oil for proper pressure.synthetic rubber seal need 1-2 drops but leather seal need 4-5 drops..best oil is crosman or rws chamber oil for spring air guns...but there are not availble in india...i tried many oils like machine oil , 4t engine oil ,2T oil , vegetable oil but every oil cause detonation like firearm bcs temperture is too high some synthetic seal fail..
i also buyed percihole moly and try it very little on percihole seal in IHP 35 still detonate for 15-20 shots and seal break.last as suggested by BASU i dip a leather seal in coconut oil..its works ok but detonation occur for 20-25 shots then normal but power goes down after 200-300 shots again in IHP 35so again i have to put 2 drops to regain power & detonate ..i search internet & IFG for many days but found nothing.. i also created a new topic on this website but no one can answer properly which oil to use..
Last i ordered RWS Chamber lube & crosman chamber oil both for 4200rs on amazon.com..and today recieved it will try tommorow & review..see pic
I shot 5 tins of pellet with 500 in each and still no oiling in chamber.

Re: Finally GOT IT RWS & Crosman chamber oil - Review
Dear Bagga,
To best of my understanding , no lube can continue to live in the chamber under repeated firing senario.
These lubes may not be exceptions.

Re: Finally GOT IT RWS & Crosman chamber oil - Review
Finally i have tried it today..this oils are awesome ..i used RWS chamber oil in IHP 35 both .177 & .22..one have synthetic seal other have leather seal..
i put 2 drops in chamber of synthetic one , 3 drop in leather one...then leave it for whole night its is doing very good job no sound like firearm or detonation..They are very good now in power & acurracy...when i use 2 drops of indian oils like machine oil. car engine oil, 2t oil ,vegitable oil it bang like firearm for 10-15 shots then give high smoke for 5-7 shots then 5-7 shots low smoke...but this oil only give 2-3 shots litlle smoke then nothing ...but power & accuracy is good & same fired near about 250-300 shots
