Wilhelm Collath Drilling (Pics)
Sharing some pics of my Wilhelm Collath, Frankfurt AO Germany. Drilling (3 barrels) 20gax20gax7x57R. Was wondering if to post under shotguns or rifles. Made in the early 1900's.
Horn trigger guard and opening lever, wing type safety.

Added in 2 minutes 2 seconds:
A few more pics ...
The rifle rear sight is hidden in the rib, pushing the rifle selector forward pops up the rear sight and the rear trigger fires the rifle.

Sir, your guns are beautiful. I loved the engravings. Birds and animals are perfectly placed in them.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, glad you folks liked the old girl.
I think the bird on the bottom looks like a western capercaillie from the head.
A very different rendering from the one on my MTS-7
Yes a nice combination for north American and European game, I also have a Heym combination in 16ga/7x65R but the 7x57R is more popular as it is very similar to the 7x57 / .275 Rigby.Vikram wrote:Herb,

It does look like a capercaillie. The more I look at this gun the more I like it. Just lovely.
