Adjusting Rifle Scope on Air-gun
Hi there outdoor community of IFG, I recently bought Indiana 35 .177 cal Airgun on combo with riflescope online, the rifle is good and accurate without riflescope, but when I am attaching scope to it the pellets are going everywhere instead of the target, I am new to airgun's shooting, therefore, I don't know how to adjust the scope perfectly, can anyone help me out please.
THANKS IN ADVANCE I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.

Congratulations for your new gun and welcome to this forum. The best source of practical guidance for using a rifle scope is a video uploaded by pyramydair. It is available in the youtube.

Re: Adjusting Rifle Scope on Air-gun
The scope you have bought is rubbish and won't hold its zero on your rifle because of recoil. Good airgun scopes would be expensive and cost more than your air rifle. Stick to the open sights and have fun. However, if you are determined to have a air rifle scope, then invest in a good quality air rifle rated scope with damper mounts or get a hole tapped in your air rifle to hold a stop pin. Without this, your shooting will be erratic, to say the least

Re: Adjusting Rifle Scope on Air-gun
Thank for your guidance friend, but i am sorry my friend i don't agree with you my rifle-scope is working great and after adjusting the scope crosshair to zero I don't expect anything better than this in term of its performance, As i said earlier i am a beginner i don't think it is advisable to invest on so-called branded products which will do the same.Chengy wrote:The scope you have bought is rubbish and won't hold its zero on your rifle because of recoil. Re: Adjusting Rifle Scope on Air-gun
Hi vipul,
the problem lies on the scope rail which comes with the gun.because it is a plastic one.It is only for cosmetic purpose. You need to remove that and attach some other bases made up of aluminum or any metal.I hope, if you do that, your scope will perform well.I also had the same in my AK500, which is useless.

I also purchased the Rifle scope from airgunbazaar,
They provided the 11mm scope mount and it comes with scope stop and its aluminum.

Yes he was sitting on his slipper [emoji16]
Btw what is the reason for barrel droop, how can I fix it, why does the barrel droop happen? I didn't remember anything that could have bent it, it looks properly fit with reciever.
