Scope rail size and type of scope for IOF .22lr?

Hi guys, I found a pre-owned Riflescope manufactured by Hawke Optics. It is priced at Rs. 14,990/- on 10kya.com. I researched about Hawke Optics, it is a UK based company and it has good products. I contacted 10kya.com they told me that it is in good condition and scope rings worth Rs. 2500/- are free with the scope. What should I do?

In my point of view.,spending this much money for air rifle (Indian made) is the not correct since we are
able to shoot max up to 100 feet .
And if you have any .22lr or other imported guns which shoots long range then you can invest this much amount in scopes
And more over the original cost scope is 7k in an Indian money and if you are considering the shipping/duty it's OK only(15k) and u will not get this kind of deal every time. Compare to copied one Hawkeye scopes life and quality will be in top

Dear Rover Solomon, thanks for your suggestion. I have been looking riflescopes for my .30-06 and .22 sporting rifles. I am thinking of importing some good quality scope through my friend who is in import business. I will tell about it as I get my scopes.

Its been an eye opener for me to be on this Forum and learning so much.

Dear Solomon, thanks for asking. My search is still on. I talked to many people about the riflescopes. As I said earlier, one of my friends said he can import one for me when his next consignment will come. I also talked to our esteemed member of our Forum Mr. Zubin. Talking to him was really a learning experience. He is helping me in looking for a used good quality riflescope.

Are scope rails and rings restricted for import? I had ordered 20mm rails with scope rings from aliexpress but was detained by kolkata custom.
