How does the blade hold up?
Did you sharpen it to slice through paper or for heavier shopping and slicing? Because if it is sharp enough to slice paper, often it doesn't take stress very well.
Anyway it looks good. If you're using Pine wood, you can try burning the wood slightly to enhance the grain on it. And then use whatever finish you're using. Good luck, keep at it.

Thank you, yes it is sharpened to slice through paper. I will use pine wood next time and use your burning technique, thank you for the advise buddy
