Gordon Bennet, I`ve heard some daft stories in my time but that one takes the biscuit !!!

I`m trying to imagine all the shepherds in the environs oF the US Govt Armoury at Springfield, Mass.........They must have had a heck of a job trying to find grass amongst all the roads and factories - even in 1906 the area was very heavily industrialised.
