hi friends,
plz help me to buy new air rifle. i am in chennai. my budget is 8000 - 10000 rs. i want good accuracy, long range, .22 bore rifle. If there is any sniper air rifle in this budget. were can i buy best air rifle in CHENNAI.

.22 required license. .177 known as no.1 (ek number) is available. You can consider diana 460 or diana 350.

It is better to go for Indian AR.
Imported ARs are not always available.

The legality of .22 bore is still in ambiguity, even though there is an mha reply stating .22 is legal for the time being, you may face lot hassel and end up in vain upon convincing any authorities u may come across and by reasons of the same many dealers or online stores are not stocking .22 air rifles
In your budget ihp, sdb, precihole brands should be great choice, they are very much available with local gun dealers and on online stores
even though these guns effective range are high, with open sights you may do well up to 30 yards i belive and anything more then that you may require a scope to be mounted but scopes dont go well with these air rifles, reviews on the above rifles are very much available on the forum take your time in going through it in making your choice, good luck

Well..
A gun has to chosen on the basis of it's use.
High power guns are tiring for long day shooting.
I have two ARs for two different situations.
One for tireless shooting , which is GenNex.
Other one is Sport , meant for long range shooting , which is sparingly used.
