Where to Buy 12-Bore Shotgun?

Hi friends I finally got my licence for a 12 bore Double Barell finally. Can any body tell me good shops to buy a 12 bore?

Where do you stay ?
In Kolkata , you get many shops those sell 12 bore at various price range.
You can also visit yellow pages of the forum to get the name of outlet.

Thank you all for your reply. I stay in Park Circus, Kolkata. Does any shop in Kolkata sell German or British made 12 bore double barell?

It is difficult to tell which gun shop sells what. You may search the yellow pages section in this forum and contact them over phone or personally visit them. Many decades ago there were about ten or twelve gun shops. Most were located in Dalhousie area/ B.B.D. bag, Dharmotolla Street, Bowbazar Street and probably one in Harrison Road. In early 80s when all india licenses were issued by District Magistrates, then had went to Kolkata to visit these shops. I do not know the situation now but at that time quite a few had foreign made shot guns including BSA as well as IOF made shot guns. There was also one foreign made pump action shot gun.

Dear friends after searching for a 12 bore Shotgun "Made in England" from some local dealers in Kolkata, I found three shotguns:
1.) W. Richards Made in Liverpool, England
2.) WJ Jeffery Made in England
3.) BSA made in England

Only these were available in good conditions....Need help from Kolkattans in this forum. Most dealers like Great Eastern, AK Daw & Co and others were totally out of stock of foreign made 12 bore. Should I wait for more stocks to come in the dealers stores.?

Another question friends.....I bought 10 Shaktiman cartridges. Should I use them or will they damage the shotgun which is a 30 inch barell?

Barrel length has little to do with it. I could not make out the chamber length from the fourth photo. Could you please post a clearer photo taken in daylight? Shaktiman cartridges are 2 3/4" length. If your gun has 2.5/" chambers, it would not be wise to shoot them in your gun. Also, what cartridges did you buy? Ball cartridges? If yes, if your gun has full choke, it may not be advisable to shoot them through the full-choked barrel.

How do the barrels look inside, BTW? Any rusting/pitting?
