Dear Anoop,
Good
very narrow V is good for shooting in bright light condition.
But with less light falling on object , a narrow V gets mixed up with front sight.
a little wide back sight is better , if you are plinking against varied back drops.

Review of Genex was very nice Basu ji.Both of you looks stunning than the rifles.Their recent products were performing on par with international brands. It happens to be more accurate and powerful in indian market. The consistencies in their velocities were already established. Also their products are less pellet fussy.cheers, i am also a proud owner of SDB Apache.

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
Dear vsraja,
I am using this AR for last couple of months.
Gone past 700 shots.
It is real pleasure to shoot almost effortlessly.
This AR is sweet but deadly till 35 yds.
You are very correct , SDB .177 barrels are not pellet fussy.
You comment about my look , made my dark cheek red .

Dear Basu , you look great in video . So we have actor Basu. Its going to be good post retirement work . By the way who was trying his hand on GenNex? . It appears somebody new to airgun was shooting. I am getting almost hole in hole at 7 mts. Yes I am using scope and have shot over 1700 pellets. I am pretty happy with GenNex -smooth ,acuurate and powerful enough.

Recently had my hand on SDB GENEX 0.177. Highly satisfied with its design, power, accuracy & especially the weight. Some one rightly said "Genex is boringly accurate".

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
I would rather say it looks like an honest review. Make believe shots, hole on hole would have been easy to film. Rather it shows the fact. I have not shot one of this yet, but I guess very soon, with my good friend Basu.anoop wrote:It appears somebody new to airgun was shooting. I am getting almost hole in hole at 7 mts. Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
You see Anoop , my GenNex also turned boringly accurate after 700 shots.....
But it settled after those many shots only.
I think , in the video , it was a new gun so the shots were wayward.....
When we reviewed the gun they were all factory fresh.
Your gun has gone past much more than my gun so it is giving optimum output.

GenNex An outstanding Air Rifle from the House of SDB
Hi Friends, After a long pause I come back Again. Today i am going to share my experience regarding a new model Air Rifle GenNex made by SDB ...
1. Very Light Weight (Not more than 2.6 Kgs)
2 .Cocking Effort in minimum and After passing few hundreds pellets through barrel i think its not more than 7 kgs or even less
3 . Looking: Like SDB Artemis Butt wooden finish is Awesome nicely chequered pistol grip which fits very easily in hand ..
bluing is Excellent and Golden trigger blade fits very nice in it. very nice looking indeed
4. The balance is PERFECT in term of front & rear
5 . Trigger is single stage double pull weight adjustable and i have set it 400 -450 grms(i think so which provide great accuracy)
6. Velocity : I don't have chrony but SDB calming 650 fps with 7.7 grain pallets.
7 Recoil: almost nil
I am not a velocity crazy airgunners mainly I am a target practitioner looking for a AR with accuracy & smooth shooting cycle. GeNnex has almost no recoil & great smooth trigger with nominal trigger pull weight. This gun is very quiet and perfect for tireless shooting. In each sitting i can pass nearly 50 pallets without complain from muscle .....
8. Accuracy: After Few hundred shot accuracy improved much very soon i'll upload target paper. now shooting a AAA size battery from 10 meter is not tuff challenge and even with cheap united shot flat head pallets its hit target most often ... its a boring accurate gun. And great for rapid Practice and a Great Value For Money product AAA size Battery From 10 meter
Thanks& Regards
Snehashis

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
SDB's adjustable trigger model starting from Apache is the simple and best, which can eliminate two major problems ''autofire'' and ''hard trigger or unpredictable trigger'' encountered in a spring piston rifle. The trigger can be reasonably light and less fear of autofire at the same time.So you can understand how a shooter feels confident about his rifle while shooting. Its the peace of mind a shooter needs.

Hi all..., Basu da I have a question that many might have in their mind
1) what is better SDB Sport or GenNex
2) Is their same class weapon with weight difference
3) Does Artemis bypass these 2 weapon in all aspects excluding weight

Re: GenNex- Excellent Choice for New Shooters
SDB guns are powerful and accurate in their respective segments .Power wise Gennex happens to be a youth rifle like 'national-25'.Gennex .177 generates near 8fpe which is more than n-25.Where SDB sport generates near 12fpe and Artemis produces 14 to 15 fpe at the muzzle. The Gennex was good based on the power to weight ratio which suits well for veterans and the childrens. It surpasses the same category weirauch HW 30 rifle.Hence it was good in its segment with near 8fpe.Power wise Artemis tops in their brand.Sport model comes middle taking advantages and leaving some disadvantages of the both ends.
