Diana 35 import story
Yes of course it is. But in my case I will have to go through this I card of Rifle club route for I an not able to participate in any Indian events so question of obtaining a MQS does not arise.
However I am optimistic about acieving a MQS in Skeet, Trap or Double Trap this year. Then I will be import a good O/U shotgun for myself.

Just so that there is no misunderstanding later, the 'ID card route' will only get you an air-rifle or air-pistol.
To get the MQS you first have to qualify at the pre-Nationals (G.V. Mavlankar comps), before you can participate in the Nationals (NSCC). In other words you will have to come to India twice. The GVM comps are usually in September or October and the NSCC in November or December. However, the trap and skeet dates don't always coincide with those for rifle and pistol events.
If you qualify in your event at GVM you have to participate in the NSCC that follows this and cannot keep it pending for some future NSCC.

I'm afraid not! The best I ever shot was not enough to get me in the top 10 at the Nationals, which was the requirement for being recognised as a renowned shot in those days IIRC ... Anyhow, I am not at liberty to disclose the names/ ID's of the gentlemen in question - it's really up to them if they wish to be identified in public...shahid";p="24701 wrote: You would have achieved it earlier who is the other one ?
