Re: Precihole PCP
Hello everyone, my very first post. Just bought NX100. I called up Precihole and the gun is for 35K and 6k for the gas cylinder. Air pump is something they are still finalising. So the total cost will cross 50K for sure. The PCP gun is out for the final testing and will be released in Feb 1st week. This is all first-hand info right from the horse's mouth. I must say that Precihole is one of the most customer friendly companies I have come across.
I also called up Aadiyainnovations for AARYA 2 and man what a difference between the two companies. He was in such a hurry answering the query. He did even even know the power of the gun ad he is the owner of the company. Very disheartening call. (25k for the gun and 21k for the pump etc)

Please stay away from aditya innovations, they are well known for duping people off their money, especially on the sale of their stupid PCP.Thorzhammer wrote: I also called up Aadiyainnovations for AARYA 2 and man what a difference between the two companies. Any info if it will be available in both .177 and .22 calibers? 41K seems to be expensive.Thorzhammer wrote:Hello everyone, my very first post. Just bought NX100. The new arms law didn't seem to pass both the houses and I heard that it might have lapsed. Not very sure where the law stands right now, but highly unlikely that they will release a .22 caliber. Lets wait and watch.

Re: Precihole PCP
They have stopped production of .22 caliber, I have verified it through email. If you follow their website you will see all .22 products have been removed from their site. Yup 41K is really expensive. Will wait and see what other features it includes other than being a accurate and PCP rifle.Tiger619 wrote:[

No. He knows PCPs very well. Can be termed an expert. He was a member once. Looks like he is not interested in replying.Thorzhammer wrote:He did even even know the power of the gun ad he is the owner of the company.

No 0.22 buddy, only 0.177 launch. Even Aarya II maker said that they are taking the last 0.22 orders and after that they will too stop manufacturing 0.22.Tiger619 wrote:Any info if it will be available in both .177 and .22 calibers? 41K seems to be expensive.Thorzhammer wrote:Hello everyone, my very first post. Re: Precihole PCP
You are right sir, he seemed aloof and disinterested. I asked him about the power and he said - its all there on the site and when I told him that the power is missing from the specs, he then said that if its missing from the specs then he wudn't know it also. But I would not buy a gun or even an accessory from a company who is not bothered about customers. I as a matter of fact wrote him 4 mails to which he did not reply (I am a marine engineer so wrote him from ship, but he did not bother replying me once).Big Daddy wrote:No. He knows PCPs very well. Re: Precihole PCP
Yep, I had noticed that on their website long back. I zoomed in few photos of the PCP that are being circulated on this forum. Doesn't seem to have the grooves for the bi-pod. Dont think its a repeater by any chance.sam 47 wrote: They have stopped production of .22 caliber, I have verified it through email. Re: Precihole PCP
From what I have heard, they will launch a magazine later for additional cost. I think their gun uses the same basic stock for their every model, hence if the springers don't have bipod groove, then the PCP stock wont have a bipod groove. I suspect that this PCP will also be of 12 fpe.Tiger619 wrote: . Dont think its a repeater by any chance.

Since you seem to know/assume so much about the product, can you please clarify:
1) 41k (assuming that it is the actual price with the scuba tank) is really expensive compared to what exactly?
2) what other features do you expect from an air rifle other than being accurate and ergonomic with a quality built?

Re: Precihole PCP
Whatever I know has been posted on this very forum by other members like yourself. At the moment there 2 threads going on in the subject of PCP. Read the two threads and you will know all that I know. As for the price I would be obliged if you take a look at the posts above . A member has made an email to PH and has posted out the price and said it was told to him by precihole. So I fail to understand why are you after me.kshitij wrote:@sam47,sam 47 wrote: They have stopped production of .22 caliber, I have verified it through email. Secondly , 41k assuming it is the price, is way too much for a single shot PCP . I expect a regulated valve for maximizing the shot count and consistency, a rotary magazine , adjustable power knob and a hand pump for the price. The benjamin Discovery cost Rs 19000/- and comes with the pump and is single shot PCP, and the Mrod is a repeater, and its plus point is its decent power and relatively lower price, whcih is Rs 35k.
So far I fail to see what assumptions I have made. It is very evident that you have misunderstood my eagerness and enthusiasm as disrespect for the product. In the future please dont. But may I ask why YOU get so bothered when there is even a hint of criticism about precihole??
I didnot criticize nor was I saying its bad yet you had to jump up. My expectations are for me, and I dont say a product is bad if it doesnot meet my expectations. I was just very eager and speculating what it would be like as were most Indian air gunners. Do you have a problem with that?

I asked you 2 simple questions, and i see that you have answered them in between all your melodrama. I'll keep the discussion to point and take you up on those.
The price comparison you are making are with air rifles that aren't even available here. And even if they are made available, they sell for much more than the prices mentioned by you. So you have basically made a moot point.
I am not bothered by people criticising any company or any product, only find it funny when they do so without even having a single clue about the said product.
Cheers

Re: Precihole PCP
Well is not the whole point of precihole launching products is that Indian air gunners have the world class air rifles available to them at reasonable prices? Then why are you shrinking from comparing the crossman guns with precihole and their prices?kshitij wrote:

kshitij , neither had I made any tall claims or false statements, then how did you assume I know/ assumed to know too much about the product? You being a veteran member already know this let me remind you again, the words you choose and the language you use to answer in a post speaks volumes about you and your attitude. And you have learn to appreciate that there are people smart enough besides you to distinguish between an honest clarification appeal and a sarcasm.kshitij wrote: Calm down. Please let me know how many people in this forum exactly know about the specs(other than those who have been called to test the product at their factory) about a product that has not been launched yet. We are all just making wild guesses . But I fail to see why you get bothered by even a wild guess of someone or the slightest remark that says anything about precihole is not upto the mark and start lobbying. We should never be having this conversation. Instead of mocking me, don't you think it would have been better if you (As you have taken this much trouble it is worthwhile to presume you know a lot) at the beginning shared the information you had so that every one had a slight clue about this product? I hope you remember that the purpose of the forum is to share knowledge and experience, not test the knowledge of other members.kshitij wrote: I am not bothered by people criticising any company or any product, only find it funny when they do so without even having a single clue about the said product.

Re: Precihole PCP
Bros, 41k for the gun ,6k for cylinder and another some 12k for the pump puts this guñ at par with Airforce etc brands . Till now their products have been top-notch but the price will put this guñ beyond the reach of many . I was ready to shell out some 35 k for gun plus pump . Now I am seriously thinking to drop the idea . 4x4 models don't sell in India because manufacturers put the prices expecting to ruthlessly milk prospective buyers . Hope this doesn't happen to Precihole.

Congratulations, you have moved up from making assumptions to making allegations.
