Purchasing scope in Delhi
I would like a purchase one of those cheap Chinese scopes in Delhi, preferably a 3-9x40, along with a 6" picatinny. Is there any market or particular gunstore in Delhi where I can personally go, inspect, haggle and purchase one? I would like to get one personally as I cannot bug a Guangdong chap should his scope get busted after 100 shots!

With such distinguished 'front benchers' in the class, I was hoping to get a scoop of that wisdom for myself! But looks like the rules of a normal classroom apply a lot longer after school!pvasanth wrote:nitroex700 wrote:Almost 50 views and no responses!!!

From personal experience I can say safely the Guangdong chap is your best bet .All that the gunstore would do is ,sell you the cheap chinese 3-9x40 for the price of the original minus the warranty .So no use haggling if the scope conks .You can take your chances at 1/3rd the price via china.I have bought a host of stuff from aliexpress ,dealextreme etc and never fell foul in a deal .Look for a duplex or mil dot and not the generic reticles. At max had one 4x32 impounded by kolkata customs but got it released after sending a declaration of personal use, credit card bill and my competition certificates.I have the 4x32 flawlessly working on a HW 90 with a Dampa mount.
