Problem with my new Precihole .177 pistol
hi friends
i have two issues with my new precihole phoenix ,
1) though played 140-150 pellets ,trigger feels very hard ,it affects accuracy, whether its okay ,will it take more time to smoothen or should i meet gunsmith...
2) It persistently shoots low, inspite of all possible adjustments.... , much lower with G-smith pointed pellets, lesser lower with Marvellous flat heads,
is it related to weight of pellets ?? should i continue search for compatible pellet ??
please guide me
thanks in advance

Re: Problem with my new Precihole .177 pistol
if you are not comfortable with disassembly or the pistol is in warranty period, contact precihole, they should be able to solve the problem.
i suggest to use mastershot pellets, gsmith pellets are just too heavy for a 4 fpe pistol.

Re: Problem with my new Precihole .177 pistol
I have two Precihole rifles and I found their quality and finish comparable to a German AR. I am surprised how the same designer produced a junk in the name of pistol. I do not know if this shoots straight at all, as I shot and damaged my 6000 rupees chrony.

I bought a Precihole airpistol from 10kya because I was extremely impressed by a Precihole airrifle which was my accidental purchase . I have already shot some 400 pellets with it and believe me , the pistol shoots 7 and 7.4 grain pellets into a deo can hanging away at 55 feets. YES . Unbelievable but IT'S TRUE . Very consistent and precise . Also I was never using some expensive kind of pellets . I have used RWS Hobby , Gamo match , Diana ( a local pirated version) .

Haha . I wish to add . I am a big Precihole fan now . I went to buy Precihole brand Moly-grease . The gun-smith asked it's name . I guessed -- airgun is Precihole , pellets are Precipell so the grease must be Precimolly . Couldn't figure out their obsession with Preci-everything . Not a name romantic enough or matching with the quality of products they are offering.

@Woods, I'd like to purchase the SP50 0.177 too, but I've read some negative reviews about it here. I don't want to be disappointed with my first air-pistol. Could you please tell me some more 'pros and cons' of this product?Woods wrote:I bought a Precihole airpistol from 10kya because I was extremely impressed by a Precihole airrifle which was my accidental purchase . Hopeless product precihole air-pistol. Extremely hard trigger, which continues to harden after you shoot 10-15 pellets. Do not waste your time (and money).

Re: Problem with my new Precihole .177 pistol
Pros :
Extremely value for money in current scenario .
Precision /accuracy . 1inch diameter groups at 20 yards .
Fit and finish , durability .
No maintenance required as per owners manual .
Adjustable rear sights - elevation and windage .
Adjustable trigger - very easy to setup the trigger weight by using Allen-key .
Cons :
Brand is new ( meaning -still not alluring to some)
Break-barrel , single shot ( for some it's a pro).
Spring piston .
Seldom available locally - we have to purchase online.
Grip is not available in camo finish . ( You can paint yourself though)
Lowdown --
We should be happy with our Made in India brand. You will not regret purchasing it .

Try IHP PCP pistol instead. At Rs 13000/- it is a deal. Accurate enough for participating in competitions. No point in going for springer air pistols.

Hard trigger also pulls down the nose when shooting . What about grouping now ?

I am also facing issues for accuracy.... not at all accurate. pellets do not sit well in bore, now thinking to try ammo with head size of 4.49mm instead of 4.5mmSwapnil_Deharkar wrote:@Woods, I'd like to purchase the SP50 0.177 too, but I've read some negative reviews about it here.
