Order online , pay by credit card as debit card or net banking won't work . Mail your shooter id colour copy to dealer and instruct him to affix it next to your address .. Then wait for it to arrive at port of entry . In the meantime study related topics in this forums . Thereby You will get a fair ' training ' of dealing with every possible hassle en-route . If lucky no hassles will come , if unlucky deal with hassles in a cold blood . In any case you will get the gun . Don't forget to order only .177 .

Pay heed to above advices of Vikram ji and Big daddy . Everything is already discussed . Just go through the forum . By seeking short answers you will miss very valuable and quality information .
.
You can order co2 pistols/rifles but later on cartridges will be a problem of sorts . People prefer PCP over co2 .
.
You don't need custom clearance agent for this job . Firstly your personal efforts will suffice , secondly more often the agent will try to charge a fee almost equivalent to postage so useless .
Do study the forum threads .

Cant trace any recent posts on the Customs part clearance in Bangalore . All posts are quite old
The Vendor says he can ship only through USPS, does USPS have a clearing in Bangalore?
Will visit customs at Airport next week to enquire
Looking to get the below
Sig Sauer Airgun P226 .177 Cal 12gr CO2 16 rd FDE
Sig Sauer Airgun MCX .177 Cal 88gr CO2 30 rd Black
RWS Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol .177 Cal
Crossman 1077
Hope we can import 4 at a time

the US vendor charges $200 (even for one gun) for any shipment besides the cost of product

i do believe Pyramydair,USA has now started to ship to India. There are some conditions but these are basically the same for all of us i.e membership of a Shooting Club, a letter confirmation from them, only in calibre .177 etc

All the best, Guys...

By 4 do you mean that together in one lot? If yes, not sure how it will fare at customs.
