Re: self defence
I sincerely hope (for your own sake) that you are not carrying an air-soft pistol for self-defence!

Re: self defence
No. Not now and not in future. I use it for some training. I uploaded an image if the "tools" in which there is the airsoft pistol and magazines. I carry a combat knife and one of the knuckle dusters. I keep one 26" hardened ESP Baton in my Trax gurkha, another in my car. Some time I keep the knife at home and keep the baton in my back pack.
And a few more. That dummy AK is for training. So is the air rifle. Baseball bat is part of self defense training and for body conditioning. Kettlebells for strength and endurance. The BOB is excellent to develop your striking skills.

humble yourselves eat your pride and walk away, knowing that you avoided a fight. it takes a real man to not to harm when he can.

Develop your awareness. Get strong. Learn to fight - not for show or competition but for your life. And learn to avoid fight unless it is absolutely necessary. If you have fighting as the only option, go all out.
Please read the above lines from my earlier post. Being prepared to fight does not mean that you have to fight always. If YOU want to decide whether to fight or not to fight, then you need to be prepared to fight.
1.The ultimate aim of martial arts is not having to use them.
2.The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable.

Re: self defence
Hi Dhananjay25,
Thank you for posting your feelings and concerns about your current situation. If you are okay to share with us it would really be helpful,if you can tell us what dangers you perceive you are facing that made you think that you would need a firearm?
I can feel that you are truly disturbed by some happenings. I am concerned and empathize with you! Please feel free to share with us but, only if you are comfortable doing so!
Our IFG members are a lovely group and a humorous group, they are all with you but are attempting to make you feel better with light banter. I can say this confidently that all their responses were well meant.
I wish you all the best.

Re: self defence
Hi and welcome to forum. If you are really concerned about your safety then you should buy a 9mm handgun. But prior to that, make sure you get acquainted with proper handling the gun to avoid any accident. Get a firearms safety training from any NRA certified training institute.

Re: self defence
The possibility of him being issued a permit (in India) for a 9mm handgun are, for all practical purposes, zero.
