Precihole scope suggestion.

Dear friends,

I recently bought a precihole nx100 polaris from Mumbai for 13k. Now i want to mount a scope on it . I ordered a Gamo 3-12x50 scope through Ali Express. It is yet to get delivered .

My question is this....Am II supposed to remove the iron sights before installing scope ??.

Takes a month for the scope to arrive from aliexpress.
In most cases the front sites do not affect the view.

I suggest you use a scope mount like this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Top- ... baea0a7035 & use weaver rings to ensure a sturdy fitment & therby eliminating scope shifts. Happy shooting

I would advise you to remove both front and rear sights as you might need to shim the scope. Note that the AO of your scope is 50 and you will need high mount rings. If you use low mount rings that normally come with the scope, the bottom of the scope will touch the gun and might damage the internals of the scope because of recoil.

Im not sure, but as far as i know, the latest precihole air rifles come with scope stop groove on the dove tail. If you can order high mount rings which have scope stop pin, it will reduce horizontal movement of the scope and you no need to readjust the scope like every few hundred shots.

Just my 2 cents. Hope this helps.

Here...buy something like this. Note that the width of the dove tail on your rifle is 11mm.

The rings below are for scopes that are 1 inch in diameter in the middle. Please check the width of your scope before you buy any rings.

It's a good scope. I'm as comfortable using it as using my UTG or AGS.

If the scope comes through Kolkata postal customs, there is every possibility that it will be detained.
I have seen that all packets are checked by Airport size X-ray machine before delivery.
My scope is also detained by them.

This is my first post, I am a member since 2009 belongs to kerala currently working in Canada . Recently I ordered scope from AliExpress and reached successfully (3-9x40 Hunting Scope Riflescope Mil Dot Air Air Riflescope Gun riflescope/Air Optics Sniper Hunting Scope With 20mm Rail Mount) I want this to be fitted in precihole NX100 .
Please suggest me an option for this .

My concern is only about the 11 mm dove tail of NX100,the scope which I got is of 20 mm .Finally I found one picatinny rail adapter from AliExpress
