Introduction

Post by ASIF007 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 1:20 am

Hi I am Asif Rahaman from Kolkata. I am 30 years old now. I have been a member of IFG for nearly a year but however never posted anything. I love the shotguns sections over all other sections. I would love to apply for a licence for a double barrel shotgun in West Bengal and would be very grateful to anyone from IFG to help me out with the procedure.

Thanks & Regards
Asif

Thank You Sir. I am in pharmaceuticals distribution business in Kolkata. I have completed MBA in Finance and a keen stock investor. My interest in guns was since childhood seeing my granddad's exquisite Holland and Holland double barell shotgun which sadly was taken away after his death. I want to apply for a licence of the same. Would be happy to anyone for help.

Recently I have applied for an arms licence. Any help from anyone how to tackle the inquiry from the local police station?
Also, how is it possible to join a rifle club in Kolkata?

Post by snehashis » Fri Jul 15, 2016 9:21 pm

I am very new and want to know how to tune a air rifle specially SDB 2000. I have notice that for ihp 35 a good number of tips & tricks available while on sdb I found nearly nothing. but I have read that sdb 2000 require serious tuning for optimum perfection and accuracy. plz help me on this topic. Is there any tuning kit available for this AR to increase its FPS. I know its a clone of diana 35

Dear Snehashis,

If you visit Gunsmithing sec., there is thread regarding tuning of SDB 45.
The tuning process is same but the issue is 2000 fitted with ball bearing trigger , not all know as to how to reassemble the trigger.
if you find out someone who knows about this kind of trigger and then open it.
Otherwise you may get into a mess.

gas ram air rifle durability

Post by snehashis » Sat Jul 16, 2016 9:16 pm

Recently I knew one thing (may be rumor) that gas ram is not durable and they may shot max 10k shot as gas came out from cylinder slowly. Then what will be life time of a Precihole NX100 AR? because many springer air rifle lasts even 15 years and even more with least maintenance.... So dear experience IFG member plz give me your valuable opinion.
thanks & regards

Snehasish,

Could you please ask your questions in appropriate threads (or start a new one) instead of posting in someone's introduction post? Thank you.
