Congratulations on your AL and would recommend that as a first timer you should opt for a .32 revolver from the IOF, rather than buy a 30 year old pistol. The revolver is easier to maintain, load and fire and also can be kept loaded for a long time without adversely affecting the weapon.
As a weapon it's value for money and does the job effectively and you can find spares easily.

last week saw one colt detective in .32 caliber with N.C.DAW & CO Kolkata asking price was 7 lac.James..

Colt 32 Hammerless is about 100 years old pistol. Its the nice one but hard to find here without alteration(Postmortem). kindly find some one who get it herdit. Here are the link about its serial no. Here Its may be 7 to 8 lack in Delhi Punjab .

Thanx all of u for ur opinion .i got hi-standard model b in restored position like both of the spring and magzine are imported from u.s.a and barel groves were in perfect condition.this long rifle range is about kilometr..

Congratulations, High Standard model B is a good choice, very accurate and reliable. It's a collectible and was used extensively by the US Army as well as target shooters in the past.I think these were in .22 calibre.
Though curious to know, the cost ?
