While if I let the gun dangle inside the pocket- how would I retrieve it in case of need.
You put your hand inside your pocket and pull the gun out.
It actually is that simple. You would need some kind of holster that covers the trigger.
The entire handgun is out of view, in the pocket. When you pull the gun; the holster, which is made of a tacky material, stays in the pocket.
Something like the DeSantis Nemesis is commonly used for pocket carry.

Another way would be to get a bare-bones holster that can be slid in the small of your back & attach similarly as above. Or you can wear a back hoslter inside the trousers on a belt..
If I ever wanted a ccw, I'd invest in a slim, 1911 type pistol & tuck in a back holster worn inside.. While you're carrying that lappy-bag, I'd say practice some instinctive-firing - you can shoot without actually pulling the gun out.. Springs a very nasty surprise for the person at the wrong end!
"Small of the back" carry looks great in the movies but there is a practical side to consider. If you slip and fall and land on your back, you risk paralysis or serious mobility threatening injuries as the revolver or auto will crush your spine. I have had this type of fall twice in the winter on icy sidewalks. Granted that you don't have to worry about this in most places in India. Still, I have had this kind of fall in Tennessee while hiking in the spring (and stepping on a wet rock). With a pistol carried anywhere else, if you slip and fall on the gun, you just risk some bruising but with the spine, you risk a lot more.

IMHO You can't have the best of everything. There will always be some tradeoff for one functionality over another.. Yes, its not the most comfortable for sitting but works well for movement & concealment...
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better
Than facing fearful odds,
For the ashes of his fathers,
And the temples of his Gods.
