The action looks like it has been copied from the Beretta 682. Look forward to the user reviews/ range report.

Cheers!

I received this image by the manufacturer, (Mr. Varun Bhargav) he mentioned he is using a 250 watt CO2 CNC Laser System, for stock checkering.

He may be the first to introduce this in the Indian market

singhfp, Thanks for sharing the information. Are the sports models coming with adjustable choke tubes like in Beretta??.Also post the about barrel length.Even if its a copy, this manufacturer is trying to sell some what near to the quality of foreign guns which should be appreciatable. This gun seems to be best in finish which is manufactured in India for the period.

I think Varun was with us and I remember him try to explain to us what he wanted to do. That is manufacture a shot for sport.

Even otherwise, I too am waiting for it to be easily available so that I could try and pick up one.

Even if the chokes are not adjustable, if different chokes can be offered as a choice from the factory, it would work for most people. If anyone is planning to use this for competitions, the real key would be how much shooting these guns can do in a session without overheating and how many rounds they can take before showing obvious wear/ breaking down.

Unlike other guns, guns used at the range go through a huge volume of rounds in each session/ season.

Cheers!

. Its good if screw able choke tubes are there/customization if any from back ordering.Till now no Indian manufacturer is offering this.

What may be the reason for overheating if so?.Grade difference in steel with actual standards??.

Any gun will "overheat" if shot enough. The heat input comes from the cartridge being fired, the heat generated by the burning powder, and the friction of the charge going down the barrel. The type of steel is of no consequence; but the thicker the barrel walls, the more heat can be absorbed before they become too hot to touch.

This is good news, Varun was member on this site, i think they had some family feud, because of this which things didnt work, thats what remember him telling here. Waiting for field review.

Small feedback, "This is the only manufacturer allowed to use such steels in India. According to the distributor." there is no govt restriction by govt on what steel to use, as long as it clears the test. EN-19 is now getting more acceptance by manufacturer instead of EN 9, which is more generally used

I had the opportunity of firing this weapon at varuns place in feb this year at jammu...they have a great setup...I haven't see anything like this till date in any factory in jammu...infact I had gone with a mind to buy this...but this product is not finished yet it has some problem with the firing mechanism and ejector as well but i hope it will be sorted out soon...because i am eyeing for this piece of beauty...
