which Revolver / Pistol should i buy??
Hello Friends,
I recently got Arms Lisence and got a deadline to buy a .32 Bore weapon(either Pistol or Revolver) before August 2016..
Please suggest me which Indian/International Arm should I buy, initially planning to have IOF Mark4, now there is a news that Mark 5 Revolver is supposed to launch soon.
So should i wait for Mark5 revolver or pursue with Mark4, or you suggest something else..
your valuable suggestions are highly solicited.
Regards
Rakesh Malik

Dear Rakesh
Welcome to IFG. And congratulation on your AL.
Please introduce yourself in the specific section. Mention your need, budget and share your knowledge.
There is always some news about IOF products. I feel Mark 3, Mark 4 both are good choices too, as you say you have a deadline (which I think will be a max of 30-90 days from granting of AL).
Cheers.

Post intro here- https://www.indiansforguns.com/viewforum.php?f=24
Only IOF can give the update on the new Mark 5. After calling them post their reply here.
I am also suprised that you have been given enough time to procure your weapon. Which area and state your AL fall under? And also share your experience with Licensing Authority.
Cheers

Re: which Revolver / Pistol should i buy??
I am highly obliged for the reply... I got the license from state police arms authority in Gurgaon (Haryana), where as per my experience the process was very transparent and easy, except few days delay at Concerned Police Station level for Recommending me for the same. Total process took almost 100 days to complete.
I already have couple of licenses of my Brothers, so that was helpful. If someone who is putting in Gurgaon or faridabad in haryana, i can guide/help to ease the process.
While, before finalising Mark 4, i am looking for an experts opinion and review about this weapon.. So Soliciting the same from you.
And can i import any New/used weapon directly/indirectly from any country.. Please help in this regard also.
Thanks & Regards,
Rakesh

Hello esteemed members,
I need help with some suggestions for a friend of mine who is looking for a Pistol, the budget is around 4 lakhs. What are his option, he was recommended a .32 by a police officer who is his friend. He is not keen on a revolver, not sure why.
At 4 Lk, are there any imported ones in the price range? or OFB .32 pistol his best bet.
If I need to share any more information, kindly let me know.
