At Last i have been able to lay my hands on .22 rifle BRNO MOD 2. Costed me Rs 118. Yah thats correct you read it correct now thats some privileges one gets for serving this nation, collected from COD jabalpur the barrel is in a good condition,no pitting or rust, the trigger, colt and safety catch all in working order. All it needs is bluing and some work on stock to get it back to its old glory. So please enjoy the beauty.

Congratulations sir on your new possession. It must have been like I said, A lots of these beauties stacked in old wooden cases, waiting to be rescued. Now starts the restoration phase. Hi nice rifle, been using this regularly at the range in bangalore and very smooth and easy to handle. However those are quote new ones and get nice grouping though it's just bee a month that I got enrolled here and using range sine then.

Congrats Zorawar, these model 2s cost ₹750/ in late 60s and were brought into the country in hundreds for shooting clubs as well as individual members of NRAI.. I bought mine brand new in 1972 (manufactured 1972) for ₹3000/ and friends cursed me for having spoilt the buyers market. you have lowered the bar for the buyers now,Kudos!!!
