Hello all,
First post here so please be gentle!
I needed some shooting bags (images here) for my garden bench rest and after discovering that they cost around £25.00 un-filled, I decided to make my own. This video was very useful and the whole project cost me less than £8.00 and that was just for the imported rice. Much better rice in India!
Enjoy!

Re: DIY bench rest bags
Any reason for choosing rice over lead shot, other than cost?

Looks good
What we do is use a pair of thick cotton socks filled with a fine grain sand. The only con to that is the sand bags end up weighing quite a bit.
