[Help] I want to purchase a airsoft gun online

Hello guys , let me intro myself I'm Jackson , a fellow Indian like yourself. I'm gun enthusiast but i never had my hand on airsoft rifle .I'm planning to buy a airsoft rifle under 10-15k for target practice . But problem is i dunno where to start . I came across this website that imports airsoft rifle.

Seriously i dunno whether it is legal to import this into our nation . Any advice ?

EDIT : As far as i know by searching post in forum , its impossible to do import . So can you suggest me a local site to buy airsoft rifle ?

even i would suggest shoot and slash as i have got a cz p09 airsoft from there and its realy good.

You could buy one from dx.com.
Some users have had success in shipping them with no customs problem.
You can get AEGS for 10 - 16k but I doubt they are of good quality.
There are some GBBS you can get but the highest quality ones you can buy are from Tokyo Marui brand but most of them are Ebbs which are kind of weak...
But keep searching as there are quite a lot of airsoft guns from them.
Also you seem new to airsoft so I would really suggest learning trigger discipline and gun safety because these guns are powerful at times.
AEG - Automatic Electric Gun, powered by a motor which drives a piston shooting the bb out.
GBB - Gas Blowback, uses gas like propane, greengage, co2 to shoot the bb as well as making the cocking handle/slide move back every shot like a real gun.
Ebb - same as GBB but electric, do not recommend this type of gun tho.
Also the gun you found on evoke does not come with the scope, it's just for showcase. You will have to buy your own.

These are plastic geared AEGs, the lowest grade of the lot. These are usually 5-6k range, use & throw. But the 10-16k(shipped) range gives hobby grade AEGs.

Ebb - same as GBB but electric, do not recommend this type of gun tho.

What you said is true in the case of handguns, but EBB in hobby grade AEGs is a different beast. Checkout the various VFC/JG/CYMA/Dboys/Umarex designs. They go ~400fps just like its non-blowback versions but with added realism.

Also the gun you found on evike does not come with the scope, it's just for showcase. You will have to buy your own.

It doesn't necessarily mean it's for showcase. If it got the rail, any aftermarket scope can be fitted on. Also it better not stage an entry with scope. But this particular gun has plastic internals including the sear but upgradeable to a certain level.

Also about the scope, I didn't mean that the rifle he linked could only use that particular optic in the picture. I just meant that the scope was put on for marketing purposes, concerning the fact that many newbies buy these airsoft weapons thinking that they will get the scope along with it when seeing the picture, but later find out that it was not included, then have to shell out another 6000 - 12000 INR for a good scope. I know that any other scope can be put on that rifle. Meh, must be bad wording on my part

Hi Ady,

No please don't buy an Airsoft Gun from any Foreign website.

Only buy from any reputable website from India which will give you a valid Invoice.

Also you can visit some Toyshops to check if they keep Airsoft Guns or check if any Online Toyshop sells them.

Buying from a Foreign website will give you headache the minute you hit Buy button and money gets debited from your account.

Additionally same goes for buying a C02 gun too.

Buy from reputable Indian Websites.
