Is it OK if we ask for names to be put to each entry? Just curious. Thanks.

Lanceman, you now know whom to blame.

Vikram, Nos. 7 and 14 are from xl_target' and No.17 from mundaire.

I was really surprised that not one of the mods chose No. 17. In my opinion, it was a toss up between 1 and 17.

LOL.

The rate at which he has been buying (and the rate at which I have been selling, over the past few years  ), he probably has more than what I have left.

Yeah, Kshitij is prepared for both scenarios - he'll fight ideas with the pen and the ideator with the knives!!

By the way, since we have people who regularly write with good fountain pens, can we also have some information on inks? One of the links Mack shared did say that Waterman is the best all-round ink, but that is more focussed to brands available in US. I was looking for bit cheaper Indian inks, say Camlin, Chelpark (if it exists anymore), Sulekha (ditto), Parker Quink.

In the mid range, I have personally found Waterman to be distinctly drier than Shaeffer.

Also, a quick search on the net shows that between Parker and Camlin, at 40-50 INR, and Waterman at 350 or thereabouts, there exists no competitor. Or at least not one listed on amazon & flipkart.
Cheers!

I have found Bril, Royal Blue especially, to be a very good ink. Rs.15.00 or so for a 60 ml bottle.
