Today finished sanding the PG and Cheek Piece to final shape. Now the gun feels much better.

Great work GNV!!!!
The contours of both the Cheek Rest & Pistol Grip add good aesthetics & functionality.....
The AR now looks respectable!!!!!!!!

Here are a few pics of some recent modifications.

Can the wise IFGians please share their collective wisdom about this new crown?! I had asked for an 11° crown but they came up with this:

They also grinded the loading lever & also added a Teflon spacer to eliminate any contact with compression tube:

If you want it right NOW, there is a link somewhere on this forum or PM me, will send manufacturer's details. You can talk to them & get it for yourself. They sell it for lesser prices than online & dealers.

I would suggest you to keep track of this thread & order any add-ons in the pipeline later on. However if you can wait for a week or two, they're planning to release the final product soon.

What are the NEW things in this final product. Any improvements in the trigger assembly?

Yesterday I tried to zero my scope. Only to find the pellets hitting the target all over. The target looked as if hit with a scatter gun. After some head scratching found that the barrel is not closing securely and loose. A small jerk after cocking and the barrel opens. The spring behind the barrel latching pin is not strong enough. Shimmed the spring up with a small washer and now the gun closes securely but I don't know how long this would hold before the spring weakens again. Please tell them to use good quality parts.

Yes sir. 2-stage trigger in the works. Trigger pull length will be increased as well.

Since the time you bought the gun, a lot of changes have been done it seems. Yours was one of earliest batches they made (that's what they told me). Will relay your issue right away Sir! :)

Hello Himanshu, Mahesh, et all!

Sorry for the delayed response. I happen to know the AARMR guys a li'l bit. As far as I know, the powerplant of the gun has reached desired maturity more or less. Only minor stuff going on right now.

That said, I feel the manufacturer is taking his own sweet time for everything. What I would suggest you to buy the gun as is - give them a call, talk to them about future upgrades & negotiate how they can ship them to you later on. You can swap the parts yourself or have some bandook mistri do it for you. For any more help, pls feel free to PM me.

Just spoke to the manufacturer also, he said next week it should be ready. 2-stage trigger will follow later & can be retrofitted.
