Which type of gun it is. Are it is the best option, compersion between Maher singh and Visco and Cusion Mandi HP

Well James, a lot of things matter for shotgun made in India, as there is no standardized product ( i dont mean they are cheap or anything). Wood used for stock, steel, barrel length, and gauge is not problem as most of them are 12. And things like ejector, single trigger etc.

I too need some help in this regards. My requirement would be for home defence. 12ga, short barrel (20-24,25inch), SxS or O/U (i like O/U), ejector would be good.

Open for suggestion. Thanks

friend than 12ga Visco DBBl is the best option insted of O/U.

Mehar Singh guns are not made now days. Their production has stopped.

I have handled few of them, they are light weight and very well made. To give you an idea they are like IOF made 12 bore guns

A known friend, gun enthusiast have mentioned about New Light (or new Lite) and MGM are pretty good and comes for less than 35K. Some light on this by the experts will be nice. Thanks.

Also name brands that are currently available in the markets known for reliability and make are highly appreciated for amateurs like me.

I am not sure it mehar singht but off late its the modern new model, with single trigger which is their in market. You can try that.
