My name is Dinar and I am from mumbai.
I am a fond of guns from my childhood but never got a chance to buy one. But I brought heman mark 3 air pistol 2 years back and after practicing with pistol now I want to buy my own air rifle very desperately. I studied almost everything about air rifles on net but still confused which one to buy. My budget is 10 to12k. Accuracy is the main factor. Thanks

your topic heading itself suggest which manufacturer you want to buy from. buy .177 for normal target plinking and cheap and easy availability of pellets.
Some learn by reading. A few by observation. The rest of 'em have to pee on the electric fence.

If target shooting is what you want, I would suggest a .177 nitro piston Precihole gun to begin with. You will almost certainly need to graduate to more expensive PCP guns & associated 'ecosystem' eventually as you progress..dinar wrote:Namaskar to all my Air Gun Gurus

If in case by 'target shooting' you meant casual plinking & fun shooting, I would suggest .22 Scorpius or AARMR Hurricane Mod 15, which is sturdier, more powerful & cheaper & holds lots of scope for user customization, its designed more as a 'sporter' than competitive use though. Most people who've tested it find it fairly accurate too.

If you increase your budget by couple of thousand Rs,I will suggest a .177 precihole NP gun.If not then the second choice is IHP. All other guns are a compromise.I also suggest you to use pellet catcher with std target sheets to practice.
