More than truckload of bull dung !!
I have not read any such series of stupid writeup before in the forum.
Almost all the posts till now ,are relating to Aarmar.
Either too excited , or partner , promoter or technical consultant.
I have no objection whatsoever in any of the above but forum can not be utilized for making unreal claims.
I have tested Aarmar in light chrony and that returned 676 fps max with 12 grns Unitedshot 12 grns RH pellet out of the box.
The observation of GNV as similar as mine.
I expect Mod to take a note of such unreal posts/claims to be continued on forum.

I just think he is a little excited which is not a problem if reigned in a bit ,as it can cause what seems like one of the better products in the market ,some damage, it happens

Agree with Mr Deo. He is bit excited with some sense of achievement in getting the gun modified to some extent.I think it is positive as the manufacturer has incorporated few changes in new model. I am from Amritsar and I have purchased it recently from them.

There is a vast difference in being excited and in spreading absolutely foolish rumors about a product.
Added in 15 minutes 11 seconds:
Say some member was to buy the air rifle based on these false claims only to find out that the rifle performs much lower than "27J out of the box", what then?
Is Mr. Warrior Buddha going help ensure that the member gets the performance that he has claimed here? If so, then I sign up for one air rifle immediately. Cant wait to have that "27J out of the box" and "40J after tuning"
Also, Mr. Warrior Buddha is inviting people to bulk buy with him based on such baseless claims.main13 wrote:An accurate Indian AR that shoots 27J out of box@8000 bucks should be stolen, on a preorder, on a holiday..! Even Desi Tamanchas sell for more...
Interested people can keep in touch with me about bulk buying (am buying by month end) & any specific modifications they need.
Love & Regards,
Warrior Buddha

Agree with you kshitij , thats what I said ! My only point was he has to reign it in ,else would end up damaging the prospect of the product by over leveraging the "unknown" , sometimes it pays to have some patience .Lets enjoy @GNV's excellent updates on the rifle !
cheers

Yup. I have made my point too. Hope it cautions any member from buying anything purely based on such claims.
Part of the reason that made me comment is that GNV had originally started this thread and it is very apparent that he has put much time and effort in sharing his experiences here. I was actually silently following all of GNVs updates since i didnt have much to add.
Then to have someone release all this hot air on the same thread and on the same product really got me i will try to reign it in too

probably i felt that the excellent GNV thread was being diluted/hijacked subtly due to unbridled enthu but concur with JSD as the product is very promising and stands to loose before demonstrating the rigor.
I was simply glad for the fact that unlike the cottage industry airguns this was swallowing the international standard pellet without thrusting.

Sorry for the delayed response gents, been driving right since morning (typing during a 'chai break'..).
Considering the free-flowing public abuse, I've asked the manufacturer to make a video & send it to me. Let's see if he is genuine enuff...
If he sends it indeed, will present it to you guys for your satisfaction!
All I can say is that my claims have been based on basic engg mechanics, endless hours of reading, experiment, analysis, discussion, repeat.. & a tiny amount of weapons' design experience.. than just shooting from the mouth!
Iff, at the end of all this, it turns out that I'm not the faker, troll, liar, pimp, pest, mad zealot.., as claimed by several wise gentlemen here, but rather quite the opposite, is there a compensation for the abuse heaped on me?
An honest hardworking guy stays up all night working double hard, weeks on end.. just to achieve 'excellence'.. so others can benefit from it.. Then gets put down & abused in the ugliest possible ways, by the very same people.. Only because his actions dare to challenge their notions about 'the possible'...
Yet we all love to say the 'System' is Bad.. May I ask Who is this System?
I hope you will be generous enuff to give me a few days to get it done, hopefully will be back to disappoint you people again with evidence of my claims. Until then, please feel free to vent your restrained emotions at the bad guy, he doesn't get discouraged by it!

This thread has turned ugly by criticizing each others. Be cool Main13 and kshitji. As far as I know about the AARMR owners they are constantly making research in this project and their aim is something bigger. They are open minded to ideas and have invested heavily in this project. They are doing improvement scientifically and with good machinery. They are professional and want their product to be the best. Mr. Mishra (Main13) is continuously in touch with the owners and I have seen his IM on their phone.Regarding me I am a Govt Officer and have no other interest in this Gun except my old time hobby. Though this gun has some weak points but overall it is a refreshing model in Indian Airgun market. I won`t boast about its power but I find it good at 60 feet. Heard that AARMR guys have done some tweaks and it will be available shortly.

one cannot make claims of performance from the drawing board. I have also got some wonderful turbocharged engines with unheard of performance but they never left my drawing board.kshitij wrote:What a truck load of bull dung! 20fpe out of the box and 30fpe after tuning
Someone has to be either really stupid to post some thing like this or must believe that we are all extremely stupid to belive a bunch of crap like this!
The original poster takes all the time and effort to buy a product, post an in depth review of the product, then take the trouble of opening it up and again post a detailed write up on the disassembly, the internals etc only to have someone come along and post a bunch of lies on his thread! All this baseless commentary without even procuring or ever actually using the product!
Whats next? Claims of half inch groups at 200yards with this spring powered air rifle?!
Stop trolling around main13, if you want to post a bunch of fiction fantasy of what you want out of a spring powered budget air rifle, start a new thread. We will all comment with we would want our dream air rifles to do on that thread but draw the line at trying to make dubious claims on a genuine thread.
Tell you what, go get this air rifle for yourself, prove your baseless claims to be true, make me eat humble pie and I would be more than glad to foot the bill for your air rifle!
Untill then stop taking a dump of lies here.
Cheers.

Okk guys, here I am. Pls check the video link below. This is an old model with new guides & piston seal it seems. Poor tolerances & inferior pellets are taking their toll, still some pellets cross the 800fps mark with a 16gn pellet.
(This time I hope aliens or communists won't be held responsible for it!):

As far as I'm concerned, I only responded as mildly as I can against a tirade of vicious personal attack.. Peacefulness & Cowardice are different things!
BTW I do intend to work on the design of an 'Indian Whiscombe' opposing-piston powerplant after this. With THAT I do intend to 'claim' 1/2" groups at 100m...
& there I just cracked the best one liner joke for IFGians...

Agreed. If you're an automobile designer working the blueprints of a perfectly made V12 prototype (that already exists), then some people come along & say that's impossible because Maruti engines are all 3-cylinder & they never exceed a certain power output.. then they proceed to call you all sorts of stuff based only on Maruti's performance.. How would you respond?aadhaulya wrote: one cannot make claims of performance from the drawing board. Hi
The gun is dieselling badly...its evident from smoke coming out from barrel, how many shots you have fired before making this test/video. Its not doing any good to the internals...you must do something about that dieselling
Regards Moulindu

Not only are they taking for a ride but they are out right questioning our intelligence

From your endless hours of reading/experiment/analysis, please tell us what is the accuracy to be expected from a shot string like that?!
