Has IHP started giving detachable cylinders for its PCP AP now ? I was under the impression that the cylinder was attached to the AP and one had to pump in directly. Anyway, why not contact Mr. Makhija (+91-9898075543) of IHP directly ? He will surely help you out. Good Luck.

Hi airgun_novice,
No the cylinder is still attached to the gun. I was referring to the refilling, larger cylinder (scba tank, breathing apparatus, compressed air cylinder, etc) which i want to use to refiill the gun. i should've been more specific, thanks

Hi Arjun,
I got 130 shots wen it came filled from the factory, of which about 80-90 were with consistent power and accuracy. which is very impressive i must say!

Since you are unlikely to find a Scuba Shop in Bangalore, you could try a refrigeration specialist or a welding shop.
If you can obtain a CO2 cylinder, it should be able to take the pressures required. Check the ratings on the cylinder though.
Here, in the US, C02 cylinders are available from Coke and Pepsi distributors.

I would suggest a CNG cylinder used in automobiles. They can take the pressure and you can get second hand ones at a very reasonable price. But ensure that the safety certificate is valid or get a safety certificate after getting it tested.
These cylinders come in various sizes ranging from 5 kg (used in auto riksha) on wards and it is small enough to carry around with you. The cost of a second hand 5 kg cylinder should be between Rs 3000 to Rs 5000.

BTW most cities of size will have at least one/ more industrial gas supplier. AFAIK they can provide both the cylinders as well as refill them to required pressures.
Cheers!
