EDC or MULTI-TOOL?

Post by brihacharan » Fri Sep 18, 2015 12:58 pm

EDC or MULTI-TOOL?

Most of us are often faced with the question – as to what is the ‘ONE TOOL’ / EDC that one would like to carry at all times?

Although a good handy ‘FOLDER’ seems to be the obvious choice, the chances are that one often faces situations where items such as different types of screwdrivers, bottle / can opener, mini file etc. are required in an emergency.

Hence the obvious answer is to carry a compact “MULTI -TOOL” of a reputable brand …. A virtual “Jack of all trades”… yet the master in most situations!!!!

Luckily for me such a thought turned to reality when my daughter & son-in-law very graciously gifted me with a “LEATHERMAN” last week!

Very nice and practical tool Briha ji. Hopefully when my daughter's grow up and get married they would also give me something similar. And then I will have two of them. :D

The Rebar is an awesome and very handy multitool. I believe these complement a good knife and make for a very robust tool for the car. I remember first time I had to put chains on my car tires in snow, a weatherman tool - sidekick saved the day. I had mindlessly tossed it in the trunk, bit realized its utility when my hands froze and it was impossible to lock the chains.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Brihaji. Enjoy it in good health.

A very nice multi-tool, Brihaji.
I'm sure you will put it to good use.

Very nice indeed, Brihaji! Your family knows your tastes quite well.

I've been wanting to get a Leatherman for my motorcycle tool kit for a very long time..maybe the Wingman some day.

Cheers,
SS
