Semi Automatic Rifle .22

As per my knowledge of the Arms Rules & Act a Semi automatic .22 rile is a NPB and can be owned on a normal License, kindly confirm.
Does any one on this forum own knows or knows about this rifle???
I would like to know if it has feeding problems with KF ammo?
Is it worth buying and what would be a reasonable price for it in the market. The arms dealers in Gurgaon are not aware of this rifle..

No its PB.Read carefully anything else semiauto then rev\pistols is PB as rule.
No .22 semiauto dont have any problem with KF ammo

Which rifle are you talking about?
LR does not come under pb.

AFAIK, there was a Notification in the 1960's allowing semi auto .22 LR rifles on normal NP Licenses. It looks like they either withdrew that and any semi autos other than pistols were put on the PB list or every one was made to believe it.
There was another notification, I forget the exact reason, clarifying that .22 Rifle licenses being granted for target practice including semi auto .22 rifles must be mentioned as only for target practice or something to that effect.
Now the latest Draft 2015 Arms Rules make it very clear that .22 LR rifles including Semi auto are NP Bore. which lends credence to the fact that this issue may have gone back and forth a few times and the Govt. in fact dealt with it more than once.

I was also under the impression that it was a NP weapon but couldn't find any notification to that effect.
May be I will have to visit the LA to find out what is happening actually/ practically.
