Dear kshitij, I am really sorry for that, few days back I am using tapatalk for Indiansforgun, I Would like to submit my humble prayer to Board Admin that if I have any multiple user ID kindly remove Bikash Rai from your membership list, because after several requests I got this membership. NX 100 doesn't require much maintenance apart from the periodic lubrication of the piston with moly paste once the oil leakage from the nitro piston stops completely and the rifle settled down. But during the oil leakage period you may have to strip the gun clean it and reassemble it if the leaked oil is finding its way into the compression chamber as then the gun would diesel which is not good for the gun. Cleaning and assembling the gun could be done in 30 minutes if you have a spring compressor and you can build a compressor for under 400 rupees. For details of cleaning the gun you can find my earlier post in the gunsmithing section

The initial oil leakage is the only problem I faced with NX 100. Otherwise it is a fine field Air Rifle capable of exceeding the 12 ft.lbs with light weight pellets and accurate too.

I have Polaris (NX100) and IHP35 (self tuned ). For me, Polaris wins hands down in looks and accuracy.

I have two SX-100 series ORIONS and upgraded one with a Nitro Piston. Since then I never shot the Spring Piston ORION.
My choice wouldn't count. Since I already have an SX-100 ORION I would go for SDB 2000 because I never shot that gun and would like to try it if I am buying.
I would not even consider IHP 35 even though I never shot that either but its design particularly the direct engaging sear trigger is pretty outdated and non adjustable.
Among SX-100 and SDB 2000 my advise would be to try them both and select the one which fits you comfortably when you mount the gun. Most probably you would find SX-100 is more comfortable. It is your choice in the end.
