Re: Wildlife Photography
Hi everyone
As sometime earlier, i was interested in buying a dslr. But my budget was low and i also need to improve my photography skills. So pls suggest me an all rounder point and shoot camera with 1080p recording up to 35 k.

Re: Wildlife Photography
you can go with either
canon 600d or nikon d5200 or nikon d3300
if you are going specially for wildlife , then i would suggest a tamron 70-300mm lens
if you buy canon you will get 55-250mm lens which is good

@Raghvendrasingh
you can opt for canon hs50sx or 60
they are bridge cams , but the quality of pictures is not good , surely they give ou good zooming capabilities but you compromise a lot on the picture quality which is not good
on topic, i found a great blog of a wildlife photographer in india

HS50EXR is an excellent bridge camera. Been using it for 2 years with 1000's of shots. Not regrets. Would recommend recommend it and the best "trainer" before getting your DSLRanonymusneo wrote:@Raghvendrasingh

Re: Wildlife Photography
A very interesting thread.....a subject that brings to focus many a facet in photography....
While everyone seems to discuss the merits & demerits of photographic equipment....there appears to be less of it when it comes to the skill of the photographer, such as timing (situation), framing, story value etc...
While these can be acquired over a period of time....basically it requires an imaginative / creative mind (to see a picture before capturing it)....
Here are 2 award winning examples to illustrate the above.....
Capturing the sheer drama
Capturing the 'humour' in the situation
Get the drift?

Re: Wildlife Photography
Dear Friends,
On August 08 2015, this thread will complete five years. In my wildest of imagination (pun intended) i never expected so many wonderful contributions and photographs. I thank you all for your contributions and request you to continue to make this thread alive and exciting to all wild life lovers and photographers.
Finally, I request permission from some of those photographers who have posted excellent photos for downloading and printing some of these photographs. I plan to enlarge these photographs, frame and display them in my guest house at Kaas Flower valley, Satara.
The guest house is under construction and will be made out of pine wood . Needless to say, as and when it is completed, it is open to all IFGians.
I hope that you will give me permission for the same.
Thank you and looking forward to your kind co-operation.
Regards
